This is a birthstone pendant for mothers based on the Maori eternity symbol which represents the joining together of people. The single figure eight represents the journey of life where people will always cross paths no matter how far apart they stray. What a great symbol to represent a mother and her children as they grow up and move away.
This pendant is molded and shaped by hand using precious metal clay which becomes fine silver after firing in a kiln. The stone in the center represents the mother's birthstone and the stones that dangle represent the children. Shown here are blue topaz for December and two pearls for two sons born in June. Of course, any number of children can be added. Each pendant is hand formed so no two will be exactly alike. It hangs from an adjustable black cotton cord with slide knots. Sterling silver chain is also available.
